Hyperia #3
                           ON THE FLY COMICS
Evad the Space Pirate scoured the galaxy in a relentless search for the Seed of the Tellum, determined to grow his own Tree Portal. He sent his most trusted pirates to every corner of the cosmos, and their search led them to the frozen wasteland of KolâDaru, where they uncovered an abandoned Nyar-Noom Collector. But KolâDaru was not as lifeless as it seemed. A horde of Elkcinâancient predators that had survived in solitude for centuriesâwere waiting in the shadowsâŠand they were hungry.
Meanwhile, Wink, the great-great-great-great-grandson of Patches, had been trailing the space pirates. He arrived just in time to witness the pirates kills all the Elkcin but one. And this Elkcin, was different, it grew and began to tear the pirates apart. Seizing the moment, Wink managed to befriend the monstrous creature and soon made another shocking discoveryâa single surviving captive within the Collectorâs cryo-pods: an Esac-Ttam named Râelton.
With the last Elkcin at his side and Râelton rescued from the clutches of the Nyar-Noom, Wink returned to STARSEED, his hidden space stationâthe last refuge of the final Tree Portal in existence.
But what awaited him was not reliefâŠ.
